THE PROGRAM

About P90X Gen Next Tracker

P90X Generation Next is the modernized version of P90X, developed to bring updated exercise science and movement patterns to the program. Sessions run 30 to 45 minutes — longer than X3 but shorter than Classic — and cover strength, power, cardio, agility, and mobility. Gen Next uses a push/pull/full-body structure similar to modern programming principles, with workouts like Push Strength, Pull Strength, Full Body Power, Plyometrix, Cardio Boxing, and Active Mobility. At 91 days it is the longest P90X program, with one extra day built in for good measure.

FAQ

Common questions

What is P90X Gen Next?

P90X Gen Next is the most recent evolution of the P90X program. It retains the 90-day structure and muscle confusion philosophy of the originals but uses updated exercises, a push/pull/full-body workout split, and 30–45 minute sessions. It is the best option if you want P90X training with more modern programming.

What workouts are in P90X Gen Next?

Gen Next includes workouts covering strength (Push Strength, Pull Strength, Upper Body, Lower Body, Full Body Strength, Full Body Power), core (Core Circuit), cardio and conditioning (Plyometrix, Cardio Boxing, Speed & Agility, Accel/Decel), and recovery (Active Mobility, Active Flexibility, Myofascial Release). All are pre-loaded in track90.

How is Gen Next different from P90X Classic?

Classic uses a traditional muscle group split (chest/back day, shoulders/arms day, etc.) with longer 60–90 minute sessions. Gen Next uses a push/pull/full-body split with shorter 30–45 minute sessions and more functional movement patterns. Both are 90+ day programs with similar overall goals — Gen Next just uses a more contemporary training approach.

Can I track Gen Next workouts in track90?

Yes — P90X Gen Next is fully supported in track90 with all workouts and the complete 91-day schedule pre-loaded. Log weights and reps on your phone during the workout, and your previous session data is always a tap away.
